This I find so frustrating I always tell people if I will be unable to reply for a while but some people don't even get past the oh I would like to roleplay with you then they fall of the planet I really don't know why people do this so often dose anyone else have this problem?

It's happened to me too. I have a job and a life, so I tend to be slow at replying. I know how you feel though. I used to be a member of Quizilla before it shut down. I've dealt with a lot of ditchers, and trust me, it gets annoying after a while. I'm not sure why people do that. When people ditch me though, it makes me feel like I did something wrong, which had became a pet peeve of mine.

I know I'm one of those slow responders at times, but it's usually due to IRL stuff going on. I usually try to keep everyone informed, but there's times where it's not the first thing that comes to mind. Like right now, I'm not inclined to send out an email to everyone due to Harvey and all of the flooding going on in my town right now. If anything, I don't believe it's because you did anything wrong that people ditch. It's more along the lines that.. people sometimes get distracted with IRL stuff or become more focused on other things, perhaps. Personally, I know I try to keep everyone updated whenever I can- if it's possible to do so.
Speaking from personal experience, when someone ditches and just stops speaking with me but still logs onto whatever site it was that we met on I assume they just got bored and didn't know how to say that. And that's what I assume most people ditch for--they're bored or just no longer interested in roleplaying but just don't know how to tell their partner so they ignore you.
Now, when someone disappears and doesn't log back on for a while then I assume their computer broke. Like for me! I haven't had a laptop or really anything to go online with aside from my 5-inch tablet or shitty little phone for a year. You read that right! And no it's not an exaggeration because laptops are expensive and so it rent, so I'd rather pay rent than buy a laptop. But that said, roleplaying on a tablet so small is horrible! And my phone has a seizure basically every single time I try to go online. So I haven't had the chance to tell my roleplay partners what's up, which means they probably assume I ditched.
So I think it all depends on the situation! Some people just get bored easily and aren't interested in talking out the issues and some people just run into problems that keeps them offline.
Although when you're just getting a roleplay started and the person ditches, that's just them being dicks.

I know you can be slow we have Roleplayed in the past and I understand busyness would you like to roleplay with me again
That is what I mean I have an infant and a job I know it's hard to reply every day but really it would be nice if people would give you the respect of telling you that the rp is not working for them like me I struggle with long replies I try but I haven't gotten there so I have had people tell me that they can't rp with me because I tried to match them for the challenge and sadly it didn't work out but then I have rps going who I can match and they just fall of the earth but they login to the sit I met them on.

I would be up for it, but.. I'm in the middle of hurricane Harvey so any response time will be extremely delayed. It's because of college classes being pushed back a week back, along with the heavy flooding going in Houston right now. If you're understandable about those delays, I would be down to roleplay with you.

Thanks for being understanding. I haven't really checked out LOTR in recent days, so I'm fairly rusty with it. I'm not too certain I'd be up for it a hundred percent, but I would be willing to do that for your side if that's what you're interested in?
