As anyone who watches the show knows Ash CAN'T WIN A LEAGUE EVER. Why? Because the writers are convinced if he wins the series comes to end?
Okay...why? Like how would it end just because Ash wins a league? I beat Pokemon Red/Blue/Yellow, and then when Gold/Silver came out I got it, and beat that too. I didn't go; "Golly I beat the Kanto League, time to never, ever, play a Pokemon game ever again." Why would someone like Ash just end their journey because he beat a League? In terms of character wouldn't it make more sense for someone like Ash to still want to try and challenge other leagues, and explore, and meet new Pokemon?
Some have said that winning a league means Ash is stuck, except two things;
1. Ash beat the Frontier Leader, and basically said; "Naw bro, I'm gonna travel some more."
2. Is there any legitimate proof that the anime's rules are the same as the game's are, and that Ash would have to stay? Where's the proof that he can't just go; "So yeah I'm gonna take off for a new region now." In addition in the anime they make it seem like the League is a special event, that happens like once every X amount of time, so I mean he could just come back if he needed to.
