What should I get?

I'm having a diffult time deciding on which console to get. I'd love some input and I'd love to hear opinions on why one is better than the other.

So, I have owned a PS4, though I do not currently, and I would like to say, that it's a pretty damn nice system. It handles all apps (Netflix, Hulu, HBO ect) very well, which is something I appreciated as I mostly used it as a fancy DVD player towards the end (I know, pretty lame huh?) However, on the games I did play I really adored them. There were almost always games on sale and they looked fabulous without a lot of lag or loading times. I played a lot of remote play on my vita which was also a handy-dandy feature, and when I did play directly on the TV with remote, I really enjoyed the feel of the remote. I never had any problems with it that weren't fixed with a quick google search and were mostly attributed to user error.

However, I'm a casual gamer, so, you know, if you're more hardcore, then I'm probably not the best source.

I'm really not much of an Xbox person anyway, so that might cloud my opinion, but I LOVE my PS4. It was the best choice for my household.
