This seems to bother me a lot and I can't just ignore it so I shall ask.
Did you all join Quizilla for Roleplays? I mean, yeah, it's a good site to start roleplaying and find valuable partners but I originally joined the site to write stories to find it not mostly being about stories.
I joined Quizilla back when the "7 Minutes in Heaven with (X)" and "Who's your Baby Daddy? (X Edition)" were incredibly popular and I'd be lying if I said that wasn't part of the reason I joined.
Before then, my cousin and I would go to Quizilla and take all kinds of quizzes and whatnot, which is another part of the reason I joined. I was too lazy to make quizzes, so I started writing fanfictions and whatnot.
Not everyone joined for roleplaying, but it started becoming a breeding ground for most roleplayers.

I get that but that seems to be basically what Quizilla was known for. If some of the users want to remake Quizilla maybe they should at least add what it was made for in the first place! Not everything is about RPs.

By some users, yes, that was a lot of what Quizilla was known for. I'm not sure why this is a big question for this website? I'm not trying to come off as rude or anything, let me start by saying that. If you went to the Litmust Tumblr page, Sailor talked about how it was going to be for content and she also talked about how she was having a bit of a setback, so she created the forums. That doesn't mean it's only going to be for roleplays, but in case you haven't noticed, it's kind of hard to create a quiz on a forum board and, since proboards are free and easy to use, it's a sacrifice that's going to have to be made for a while.

Alright but still, we could have focused more on the stories than the roleplays. I don't think anyone has noticed but none of the members here RP in the forums. They even state, and I quoute, "I really don't like forums so all RPs will be by email." I am not trying to be rude but if a forum board was made for that, maybe we could have more. I know a lot of forums where you can make groups and even little sub forums for other stuff. This board doesn't need to be only RP.
It's honestly just a starting point and these forums are new, it'll be a bit of time c: Not everything will be available at the start.
Then why not start on something else? If you wanted an RP, just send a mass email and see who would message you. Don't make a site for something you had more access to in emails. I joined to make stories. RPs are good but you feel like you don't really matter.

That's because Sailor chose to do it this way - the forums have only been up for a few days. I'm sorry that you feel that way but keep in mind she doesn't have to make this forum, nor does she have to even consider making a website like Quzilla for us (which is currently in the works). This is just placeholder and not the real thing. Just give it a bit of time.

I would but seeing as this IS a forum board means she could have added the function of groups and discussions. I understand that she can't do this alone and that this is a place holder but we could have waited for the final product instead of being given a place holder. Heck, I wanted to help to create Litmust but since my laptop is ruined and I'm on a phone permanently, I cannot. All that I say is that we should make this less about RPs and more about creativity because you can find RPs everywhere but a good, creative site? You can't find that much anymore.
Hey! I'm pretty sure if you asked her, she could make a tab for the stories. I have a proboard forum as well, and it's simple to add threads. If you talked to her, maybe she could make a thread/board for the stories under a sub category or something.
I don't know why I feel the need to keep replying to this, but I'm going to stop beating the dead horse after this. Since you're bringing up the mass roleplay emails, I assume that Sailor contacted you as well, correct? With the questionnaire? When they asked things about what Quizilla had that we enjoyed, what we thought needed improvement, and things like whether or not we thought there should be a roleplay section? I can only imagine how many roleplayers that email reached, so I can imagine the response was a lot about roleplaying usage because, A.) the email reached a lot of roleplayers, and B.) that's what a lot of users on Quizilla were there for.
In general, Sailor didn't have to create Litmust. They didn't have to decide to try and revive Quizilla. This is something we should be very grateful for, seeing as they are using their own resources and not asking for anything in return.
I get how frustrating it has to be that this is focused solely on roleplayers. Believe me, I get it. But, like Apollo said, you could send Sailor a message and suggest having a separate folder for writing.
The mass emails don't always work and, as someone who gets at least one message a week, it clutters the hell out of your inbox. Do you receive the mass emails? If you do, I can imagine it's less than pleasant to see eight people have sent you a roleplay request. Yeah, it gets out to people, but a lot of those people are getting annoyed at how often the email pops up. Having websites like Litmust help to keep things from building up and you're capable of weeding through what you want to see, what you don't want to see, adding things to your Likes and following people. It's so much easier than that of the mass email.
If you would like a suggestion for a "good, creative site," you could try the Quizilla Community page on deviantART, where there's specific folders for original writing, fanfiction, poetry, etc. Even if you only use it until Litmust has more of an option for writing, it's a start.
You both raise questions: If I do that and she agrees, would people use it? I'll use it, certainly, but would anyone else would use it?
Roleplays are fun, I understand that. However, you wrote and read stories to get ideas for them. Why exclude what made it possible?
I know it's looks like I'm ranting and such but I'm not. I just think this could be more. Quizzes and such can wait but as this is a forum board and Sailor does need help, I suggest she can add people as Mods and innovate this forum board more.

It's all in who you ask. While I know that I, personally, would not use a section for stories, that doesn't mean others wouldn't. Why not try making a poll about the issue and see how many people would use it?
Not everyone writes/reads stories for inspiration. Some watch movies, some go to other websites, some draw. Saying that it was only stories that makes it possible is kind of incorrect. Like I said, some people might be interested. You don't know unless you ask.
No one said you were ranting. I'm not sure you're aware what a forum board is used for, however. A forum is an assembly, meeting place, television program, etc., for the discussion of questions of public interest. "In online discussions, a series of messages that have been posted as replies to each other. A single forum or conference typically contains many threads covering different subjects. By reading each message in a thread, one after the other, you can see how the discussion has evolved. You can start a new thread by posting a message that is not a reply to an earlier message [SOURCE]." Looking at these, a forum is for discussions, not stories, nor roleplaying.
As both Apollo and I have said, try messaging Sailor or, as I stated a few times, make a poll to see if people would use the story section. While I don't know much about Sailor, I'm sure they're capable of making an additional section for stories. But so far, the only thing I've seen people complaining about is a lack of a story section (and, really, I haven't seen anyone else bring it up), so I'm not entirely sure I know what you mean by innovating.
Like I said in my last post, if you're determined to have a place for stories, deviantART has a wide spread community for both original works and fanfiction. Along with dA, there's websites like Quotev, Quibblo, lunaescence, etc. that are for the same things (Quibblo is almost an exact model of Quizilla, just without captchas, and has a section for Stories, Quizzes, Notes, Videos, Games, etc.). Even if you're just using them until Litmust is fully established and Sailor works out the kinks.
This seems to bother me a lot and I can't just ignore it so I shall ask.

Sorry... It just bothers me.
Hi there, Sailor here!
I would like to start by saying - I get your frustration. I'm an avid writer myself and I posted plenty of stories on Quizilla in the time it was up. That website actually helped me discover my love of writing.
Now, on to the business at hand.
This isn't the final incarnation of Litmust. Think of this like a crappy motel room that everyone is staying in while waiting for their kickass mansion to get renovated. That was an absolutely horrible analogy, but I'm going to hope it works.
These forums are temporary while I look for another job, so I can get an actual roleplaying and writing, and quiz making website off the ground. Is it inconvenient? Yeah. But that's part of juggling adult life (and frankly I want a refund, because adulthood is nowhere near as fun as I always thought it was going to be).
Now touching on some of your other points:
I understand that not many people roleplay in these forums, and that's totally fine. I just thought it might be nice to have a place for people to put their requests and whatnot because like мae pointed out, requests by email really do flood a person's inbox. I'd rather log on to an inbox full of replies for active roleplays than a slew of requests. That's not to say they're not effective - they are. But in theory, this could be a useful alternative for a lot of people.
I also understand not wanting a placeholder and just wanting the real product, but this is free. And I know that it's not much (I stated that in the email announcing this forum), but a lot of people including myself are getting use from it. So in my humble opinion it's better than nothing (then again, I made it, so maybe my opinion isn't really the one that matters there, haha.)
I'm totally open to feedback. I'm a firm believer that critique and input is what helps people grow, and that nothing great can be accomplished without it. So to answer your pleas, yes, I will put in a section for stories, because even if not many people use it, it's not going to harm anything. Who knows, it might even be a hit! Just know that if you have any other ideas, feel free to message me.
In the mean time might I recommend going on Quotev, Deviantart, Quibblo, Mibba, or just blaring Uptown Funk on full volume until all feels right with the world. These are all options that might be able to hold you over.
