Hello everyone! So I assume many of you have seen a lot of posts on here where people just need to vent and let stress out. Something happens in their life where they seek advice, or just need to explain something to get it off their chest. Well today I wanted to create a thread that was specifically for those in emotional need. Whether it be a life event big or small, everyone needs to vent sometimes and have someone willing to listen to them when it seems like no one else will.

So This is what I propose! Use this thread to come to me or anyone here to ask for advice or ask for someone to lend an ear. I am always willing to listen to someone since I know what it's like to live a life where no one is there and you feel alone. Trapped in your own emotions and wondering how your going to escape, living day to day with  pain that only you can see and feel.

If a situation in your life is too private to post to everyone feel free to shoot me a private message. I will not judge you I will only listen and try to help. If you really want advice I will give it to you. Don't be shy. Always know you are never alone!

I just want people to know there is help out there that doesn't cost anything. I know there are people who wish to end their lives or hurt themselves because they have no where else to go and I want to be that place that feels like their haven.

You see... I really have the worst luck in the past few months. My parents kicked me out of my house for religious reasons. Right now, I'm poor and living off my friend which in turn hurts my pride since I feel weak. I have tried finding work but no luck whatsoever. My studies are being paid for by scholarships but I might lose it since I am getting a low GPA. I try to study, I do but no matter how hard I try I fail. I'm homeless, broke, stupid, gay and hated. With what happened to me on Quotev recently,I feel even the virtual world, which was my safe haven, hates me. I am losing interest in even communicating. I feel any word that comes out from me will just kill me.

Well your wrong on a few things. Not everyone hates you and your definitely not stupid. I have seen how you act and write, someone who was stupid could not write like you could that's for sure. I think it's really shitty when parents act like it's the end of the world finding out their child is gay, your still a human being and should be treated as such.

I still like you after knowing all these things because to me your still a kind and special individual.

Now for finding a job your best bet would be to try a temp agency, my fiance had to look for a job when we moved out of his parents place and within a few weeks he had a new job where he is now making a good 13 dollars an hour and he had no experience in the field. Just a suggestion. There are also websites like www.gofundme.com/ where you can do a fundraiser for yourself and get money from those willing to help.

It shouldn't make you feel weak if these people are offering to help you, there may have been a time when they too went through the same things you did. Sometimes you can't go through the struggle alone and to think you always should is an unrealistic expectation for yourself.

And lastly if you ever need help with school, depending on the subject, I would be glad to help tutor you. I've been in college for 3 years now so I could possibly help. Unless it's advanced math then maybe not lol

Most colleges also have tutors of their own which are free so it never hurts to ask.

Let me start by saying, I know what it's like to be kicked out and stuck living with friends. I was in that exact same position almost two years ago, and it's popped up every now and then since. At this point I've just kind of accepted "homeless" as the way my friends describe me to people. It's a horrible feeling to be dependent on the kindness of others for your survival. But the thing I remembered was that it was amazing to know how much people could care about me, even when they weren't family. It helped me rethink who I should value in life, and I learned a lot about where to put my priorities. Unfortunately, I didn't really feel that at the time. All I felt was like I was drowning in despair. I felt like nobody I knew really got what it was like to be in my shoes. And if you feel like that at all, I assure you there are people who know what you're going through, and sincerely care about your well being.

As for a job, I can promise you that determination is key. Sometimes you might have to stoop lower than you would want (like when I worked at McDonald's - a memory I'm still actively trying to suppress). Apply for absolutely every job you can. Practice for an interview, no matter how many you've had in the past. Make sure that you feel comfortable with your answers, and wear something that makes you feel good in your own skin. Go in there and ace it. Take whatever job you can, get experience, and then move on to better ones. But know that if you keep trying, eventually somebody will decide you're a good fit.

And in response to you feeling hated, I can promise you that you aren't. I read about what happened on Quotev, and even I've gotta admit that situation is terrible. It's another thing I can relate to at this point in life - an ex trying to make somebody miserable. But take a step back from Quotev, and the drama that people are causing, and take a few deep breaths. There are plenty of people who legitimately care about you. Hell, I don't even really know you and I care about you. Your friend who you're staying with definitely cares about you. And I'm sure there are others who do. Think of all the people on earth, and the very small fraction you actually know. There are better people out there - people that won't treat you terribly, or judge you over things you can't control. It's just a matter of finding them, which can be pretty easy when you put yourself in the right situations. (Finding those situations can be a pain in the ass at first, admittedly, but I promise they're there.)

Now I can't say much about the school thing, as a high school drop out who's too afraid to go to college because of crippling debt and the concept of failure. But what I can say is that you should try to stick with it, no matter how hard it is. It will be worth it in the end. 

Feel free to talk to me about your issues any time. It honestly seems like we've had some pretty similar issues in life, and I'd be glad to lend a hand where I can.

You called yourself stupid. But I'm honestly not seeing it at all.

Grades don't define a person's intelligence, just their ability to memorize and repeat information - which is something that's impaired when a person is struggling with depression or anxiety, or going through a hard time. You can't blame that on yourself. No matter how low your grades are, don't think for a second that they signify you're an idiot. You can be a genius and fail every class you take in the right circumstances. So don't ever think you're stupid. :3

I'm not really "in need" but I do require advice. As it stands I'm semi-not role playing at the moment, though things are starting to look up so I may be starting to open back up, though I'm going to take it slow.

Anyway here's the issue. I'm not a "Tumblr" user and when people come to me to rp and are all; "My character is a non-ableist, agender, hermaphrodite, gender-fluid, dragon-kin, with six head mates, and schizophrenia whose pronouns are ush/jak."

I have no idea what to say, because I myself am very open-minded, but I get people like this and they expect every single character to treat theirs like a special snowflake. I literally lost a role player from a Batman rp, because I explained to her; "While I myself will respect you, and use your preferred pronouns, this is a role play with mobsters at the low end, and a mass murdering clown at the high end. They are not going to care what your character's pronouns are, or whatever "triggers" they have. These people are "villains", "bad guys". I mean do you really think the Joker is going to murder a pregnant woman, and then tell his men to make sure to use your OC's preferred way of speaking?"

I admit I may have been a tad harsh, but I'm not going to make every character OOC.

So yes advice please?

Oh yeah, I agree with what you're saying.  I don't appreciate it when someone wants characters OOC, it doesn't make sense and it's not as fun to roleplay.

I'd simply just not roleplay with people who are like that and explain to them your situation, if they don't like it then they don't have to RP with you. There are plenty of people on here, including myself, who prefer to have Characters stay in character no matter the circumstance unless noted earlier and you both can come to a mutual agreement.

Also if you make a RP list make it known in your rules that that is how you want things to be done. I have simply stated in my lists what I want and do not want, and also add that if that's not how they roleplay then do not bother messaging me.

This is a beautiful thread I must say. Great idea to make it tehspocinater, I will diffidently find myself here quite a bit for a while at least. And now part of me is wanting to spill guts on crap happening right now but I'm gonna hold back for right now since I can still somewhat handle it, though if things do get very bad I will keep this thread in mind. Again this is a wonderful idea OP, lovely thread.
